Environmental & Climate Monitoring

Across the Middle East, governments and organizations are investing in ambitious programs to diversify economies, strengthen food security, protect natural resources, and build more sustainable and resilient communities.

From Vision 2030 initiatives and large-scale coastal developments to biodiversity conservation and climate adaptation strategies, achieving these goals requires reliable environmental intelligence and a deeper understanding of how ecosystems evolve over time.

Our Environmental Monitoring solutions help governments, environmental agencies, research institutions, conservation organizations, and project developers monitor, understand, and protect natural environments.

By combining satellite connectivity, Earth Observation, geospatial analytics, and digital platforms, we transform environmental data into actionable insights that support informed decision-making and sustainable development.

Whether monitoring wildlife movements, managing livestock and rangelands, assessing coastal risks, observing marine environments, or mapping land-use change, our solutions provide a comprehensive view of environmental conditions and their evolution over time.

Fish -Sustainable management of fisheries

Sustainable management of fisheries

To support the sustainable development of marine resources and the Blue Economy, CLS Middle East provides advanced solutions to monitor and manage fisheries across the Arabian Gulf, the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean.

From traditional fisheries targeting species such as grouper (hamour) and shrimp, to industrial fleets operating on tuna and other migratory species, the region faces increasing pressure on marine ecosystems. Ensuring sustainable exploitation and regulatory compliance is therefore critical.

CLS delivers cost-effective solutions for:

  • Fishing fleet monitoring and control
  • Catch reporting and traceability
  • Real-time vessel tracking and operational visibility

Through our Vessel Monitoring Systems (NEMO, Rockfleet and Triton Advanced), we enable real-time tracking of fishing vessels, while integrating catch data into secure platforms for improved operational and regulatory oversight.

For authorities, THEMIS provides a comprehensive and secure solution to manage fisheries data, ensure compliance and combat Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated (IUU) fishing, supporting better control of fishing efforts and long-term stock sustainability.

By combining satellite technology and advanced analytics, CLS Middle East empowers stakeholders to strengthen fisheries governance and support a high-performance Blue Economy.

Maritime security

In our regions, maritime security has become a strategic priority.

With some of the world’s most critical shipping routes, including the Arabian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea, the region faces increasing geopolitical tensions, dense maritime traffic and complex security threats.

From illegal trafficking and smuggling to unauthorized fishing, environmental risks and offshore asset protection, ensuring full visibility and control over maritime operations is essential for governments and operators.

We provide advanced, multi-layered maritime surveillance and tracking solutions designed to operate in these challenging environments.

By combining satellite imagery, AIS data (terrestrial and satellite), RF detection and AI-powered analytics, we deliver near real-time maritime domain awareness across large and sensitive areas.

In addition, GNSS disruption, including jamming and spoofing, is now a reality across the Middle East, impacting vessel positioning, navigation safety and operational reliability.

To address GNSS-denied environments, CLS offers assured positioning solutions that remain fully operational even under jamming conditions.
With devices such as RockFLEET Assured, vessels benefit from:

  • Independent and trusted positioning
  • Continuous tracking despite GNSS disruption
  • Real-time detection of spoofing and jamming events

Our platforms, including Cloudloop Tracking, seamlessly integrate with existing fleet management and maritime surveillance systems, ensuring full interoperability and continuous operational control.

By enabling reliable vessel localization and persistent maritime visibility, CLS Middle East empowers authorities and operators to secure critical routes, protect assets and maintain control in even the most complex environments.

Smart Mobility & Urban Performance

Smart Mobility & Urban Performance in the Middle East

Mobility is at the core of the Middle East’s transformation. Driven by ambitious smart city programs, rapid urban expansion and large-scale infrastructure investments, the region is redefining how people, goods and services move across increasingly complex environments.

From electrification and alternative energy adoption to the need for safer, more efficient and sustainable transport systems, mobility stakeholders must address growing traffic congestion, rising operational demands and evolving security challenges.

CLS Middle East supports public authorities and private operators across a wide range of mobility applications, including urban services, waste management, logistics, multimodal transport and large-scale infrastructure operations, delivering performance, safety and sustainability at scale.

We equip all types of vehicles, regardless of their energy source, with advanced tracking and data collection systems. As a specialist in data aggregation, interoperability and analytics, CLS transforms mobility data into actionable intelligence through dedicated platforms powered by artificial intelligence.

In large metropolitan areas, CLS also delivers advanced traffic management and optimization solutions, enabling authorities to monitor traffic flows in real time, reduce congestion, improve road network efficiency and enhance user experience. These solutions have already been successfully deployed in major regional smart city initiatives, demonstrating their ability to support high-density urban environments and complex mobility ecosystems.

By optimizing fleet performance, strengthening operational visibility and enhancing data-driven decision-making, CLS Middle East enables cities, operators and institutions to build smarter, safer and more efficient mobility systems across the region.
